Cell phones on airplanes - BAD IDEA

Now we are hearing the FCC/FAA are thinking of approving cell phone usage in flight. I feel this is a lousy idea. Don't we all want peace and quiet on the plane? What if you are trying to sleep and you have to listen to some jackass corporate schlub making a business deal for 2 hours? Or the spousal spat? This could get real ugly. We keep hearing about road rage and in-flight incidents, and this could lead to more. Not to mention the security issue, do we really need better ways for terrorists to communicate with their crew on the ground, or worse yet, give them an easy way to chat with each other in different parts of the plane? I say leave phones off the plane, allowing usage while taxiing is fine, but once in the air shut them off. Now in-flight internet access would be great, nobody is going to complain about being able to send emails. Just keep away from the porn and respect other people's privacy!
